CHEF DREW SCHREINER

Chef Drew is a creative, versatile chef with over 20 years of experience in restaurants, private homes, unique events & on-board yachts.  He is an avid traveler who has an adventurous palette, a flair for international cuisine & a love of local ingredients.  He has managed kitchens in the U.S., England, Australia & has traveled extensively throughout the Caribbean, Northern England, Europe, Australia & New Zealand.  He developed a passion for cooking at an early age, often standing on a chair to help his great grandmother in the kitchen.  His mother, who owned & operated award-winning Rosebud's Bakery in Florida in the 1990's, now runs Patisserie Patrice in Kansas City.  


Chef Drew is a Chicago native & a graduate of The Culinary Arts School at Kendall College, which included an internship under acclaimed four-star chef Paul Bartolotta of Spiaggia Restaurant.  Upon graduating from culinary school, he moved to Colorado where he began his first Head Chef position.  After finishing the winter season, he decided to take his skills abroad & moved to England.  In London, he worked at the Royal Courts of Justice, the Royal Opera House & Waterstone's in Piccadilly, while taking advantage of the opportunity to travel, eat & learn about local gastronomy throughout all of Western Europe, the Netherlands & Croatia. In 2005, he moved to Melbourne, Australia where he cooked in various restaurants & broadened his international food capacity.  In 2007 he returned to Colorado, where he opened the Arrabelle Hotel at Lionshead Village in Vail.  After 3 years in Vail, he migrated to San Francisco where he cooked for the Giants, 2012 World Series Champion baseball team.
